My car broke down at work right at the ramp up going to the parking structure. Good thing I have AAA so looked up repair shops close by and came cross Rafi's. He was super helpful from the beginning and kept me posted on the status of my car and what was wrong with it. It was going to cost too much to repair my old 2006 Acura but if i did , I would've totally trusted Rafi with getting the work done ! Thank you again for all your help !!

Took my 2014 335i here to have some work completed that was identified in a PPI I received before buying the vehicle. Rafi was easy to coordinate with and explained everything in detail. Prices were also very fair and the quality of work was high.

We were gifted a 2012 Corolla for my daughter to drive. This thing has a lot of miles on it and it was well past time to do brakes (among other items, as we later learned). Couldn't be happier with the brake work performed here. When discussing what parts would be used I was relieved to learn that quality parts (better than Toyota OEM) would be used. Lets face it, the car ain't the prettiest thing to behold but Rafi and crew treated her with care to get this phase of work done. We had the car evaluated for next steps we should be taking ... this is going to be a long process and pricey because, well, a lot of miles on it and parts do wear out ... but we will be back because it just seems like these guys know what they're doing and long term, this will be better than the alternative of high car and insurance payments.

Called about a smog test and was told to come in and it would take about 5 minutes. I did and it did. Rafi was great, fast, charged as promised, just $40 which is better than any others I found on Yelp in a 25 mile zone. Thanks Rafi!

I had a last minute CEL (check engine light) on my Audi A4 around the week after Christmas and paid $1K+ to fix an O2 sensor and PCV valve which seems to be a fair price around the MDR area. As it was the holidays, practically all the repair shops around the area were closed. Thankfully, Rafi's Autotech was open! I called last minute and Rafi was able to get me in right away. Although the sensors are not too big of an issue, it can definitely mess with the electronics for newer cars, especially European. It took about 2-3 hrs. to diagnose the car and the parts came in around 1-2+ hrs. from there but the supplier provided the incorrect parts, not Rafi's fault if that is the case. Therefore, I left the car for them to get the correct part and fix it the next morning which took about an hr. from when they opened. He uses OEM part as well! Overall, I was highly satisfied with the timing, promptness, and fix. Looking forward to visiting when I need a repair for my Audi.

I brought in a 2004 BMW X5 that I was thinking of acquiring. It had a check engine light. They did a thorough check of the engine and drive train. A number of repairs were identified with both computer and visual inspection. All the items shown to me so that I could verify. This helped me to make an informed decision on whether to acquire this vehicle. Thank you so much for your honest evaluation.

I’ve used this shop multiple times and they do good work, BUT if you decide to use them check their itemized quote very carefully. My poor review comes from their dishonest practices of overcharging and recommending “maintenance” work that does not need to be done. I took my car in to have a repair done and was quoted upwards of $5K for the repair and several maintenance items. The price seemed suspicious for the work being done, so I got a second opinion. It turns out that several maintenance items that Rafi Autotech recommended were not yet required. Additionally, parts for the repairs that were needed were grossly overcharged. In the end, I spent less than $2K to have my car fixed with another mechanic, when Rafi Auto had quoted me over $5K. My car has been running perfectly for several months and the maintenance items I initially skipped will cost me $500-$1K when I decide to have them done. Service: General repairs & maintenance
