I hear you...the horror stories of taking your vehicle into an "honest" and "reliable" service repair shop. Sure, I was impressed by Rafi Autotech's amazing 5 star reviews, but I wasn't sure I would believe the hype until I decided to try them out for myself. I dropped off (via tow) my 2005 Ford Escape Hybrid into the loving arms of Autotech on a weekday afternoon. I was personally greeted by Rafi who asked me a series of questions about the vehicle (new battery, how many miles, do you have a back up key, etc) and then told me that the diagnostic was $150 to see what the trouble was. He told me not to worry and that his certified trained team would take care of it. At the end of the day, Kevin called me to explain what the problem was. Turns out that it was a bad hybrid battery connection and that it had been fixed, the key logs restarted and the vehicle was working fine. Their shop was closing within an hour and I explained that I wasn't able to come by until the following morning, in which they replied, "no problem. The vehicle will be safe until you come by in the morning." I arrived the following morning and Kevin again explained what was repaired and mentioned that my 2005 Ford Escape (with only 36K miles) was in great shape. The total was $450 all in for the service and that initial $150 diagnostic fee was waived since I had the service handled by their team. I was even able to print out an online coupon from their site for an additional $30 in savings. The entire process was smooth, professional and one of the best experiences I have had when an auto repair shop. They even washed my Escape! I can't recommend Rafi enough and will definitely bring in my 2017 BMW 320i next time it needs repair. Rafi is honest, straightforward, reliable, and his prices are very fair. The reviews of all the other Yelpers are legit. Rafi and his team are the best!
