The team of technicians here are absolutely incredible. I have referred each and everyone of my friends and family and bring all of my cars here. I’ve done everything with these guys. Smog, engine problems, transmission stuff etc. never had a problem or complaint. Seriously, I used to go to the dealer pay way over price for the same service. It’s true not all mechanics are the same. Rafi and Kevin thoroughly check my car always, letting me know what needs fixing now and what’s left for Next service. Rafi helps me sleep at night knowing my car won’t stop in the middle of the highway I’ve dealt with too many bad mechanics and now I know when you find the right one pay the right price you get the best service and now I never have a problem. Highly trust these guys!!

I got a quick Smog Check here without an appointment. It didn't take more than a few minutes, the staff was very nice and very professional and they took a competing coupon to give me a big discount. Would definitely recommend!

Rafi promised to have my car fixed in a short period of time but after almost a week he keeps on giving me excuse after excuse and when i went to talk to him in person he acted like a child and wouldn't even look me in the face, he instead sent one of his employees to deal with me. Not only was my car not done but his employees were just sitting not doing anything and in the meantime i keep spending more money on my rental. If you can, AVOID this shop at all cost. If the owner acts like he is 5 that speaks volumes as to how he runs the shop. I should've just stayed at the dealership. Leason learned, i rather pay more than save a few bucks and deal with this BS.

Oo Em Gee. Who knew it could be this easy to get your car serviced. We are definitely going back so they can look after our car :) Found Rafi's shop on Yelp. He responded to our Yelp inquiries promptly. We needed a smog check: looking for competitive pricing and ASAP availabilities. Got around 10 quotes then we checked out all the reviews. We gave him a call and he was very helpful. We are so glad we went with Rafi. We got in and out within 20 mins (including signed paperwork and DMV was electronically notified of the result). It's also close to the delish Maples Block Meats so we picked up some yummy prime rib, pastrami, beef brisket and pork ribs before we went back to Santa Monica. Worth it. Highly recommended :)

I own 2 cars, every issue I have I come to this place and every time I come there I'm always happy and satisfied with the service, professionalism and fair pricing. They know what they're doing, keeping me updated with the process and extremely organized. I'll definitely keep coming

Service due light was on in my Audi Q5 so I was looking on yelp to find a place to get oil change. Read reviews for Rafi Autotech that are either 5 stars or 1 star reviews which was very tough to judge a business by and so I gave them the benefit of the doubt because of the great 5 star reviews and that they were certified Audi mechanics. Called Rafi in the morning and told him my service due lights are on and he quoted me $150 which was more than the place I go to in Marina Del Rey. When I got there to drop my car off, his mechanic wrote $200 in the service quote and asked me to sign it. Luckily I looked and questioned him that Rafi had quoted me $150. He quickly said "oh, ok. I will change it."!! Really?? Because I am a woman he thinks I am an idiot and automatically tried to rip me off for another $50??? Wow! That was a bad sign that I should've gotten in my car and take off but because I had a friend pick me up so I left the car for them to work on. After all it's just a minor job that will only take two hours, right? After 2 and a half hours and knowing that they will close at 5pm, I called around 3:30pm to have them hung up on me 3 times!!! The first time, a guy put me on hold for a few minutes then click! Second time, he apologized and said Ron will talk to you so hold on and then click! I called again, told them to fix their phone and let me pick up my car. To top that, when I returned to pick up my car, Rafi was there to explain things. I asked him why his guy tried to charged me $200 when he quoted me $150? He said "we gave you a new customer discount" lol. That is a lie because he never said it on the phone and down the street it was less than $100. Then I asked him why after running a diagnostic on my car and putting down that I need $458 for RT. Window Regulator, that they never called me to explain or tell me my car is ready. This window add on is just another way to charge a dumb female who doesn't know about cars extra $$$$. Sleezy! Sleezy! Sleezy! Ladies, don't take your cars here!!! I don't know how they run their business but if this is their standard, I recommend you go elsewhere.

They were prompt in answering. I was able to get my car smogged right away. The price was good and the mechanic was very courteous.

This was a hail mary visit to Rafi's shop. My car coolant started leaking in a Culver City parking lot when I was out on a bike ride. Got back to my car and warning lights were sounding off when I started it up. I added some water to the coolant tank while my wife hopped on yelp to find a good shop. Since it was Saturday evening on a holiday weekend, I knew this was a tough situation. Rafi's reviews all sounded great and they specialize in German cars, so we made the call to drive the 2 miles to the shop, park the car, and drop the keys in the slot with a note (plea) for help. The next day, Rafi gave me a call to confirm he had the keys, confirm they were open on Monday, and confirm they would check it out first thing. I was so relieved. Monday comes and, as promised, Rafi calls me once they've checked it out. They quickly identified the broken part, he emailed me an overview of what happened including diagrams of the part, and provided details as to what needed to be done before giving me a call to follow up. He also cautioned me there were other errors coming up on the car's computer system, but said they may clear out once the initial problem is fixed. After agreeing to proceed with the repair, they called back in just a few hours saying the repair was a success and, as he (we) hoped, it cleared out the other errors from the car's system. During their inspection, they also noticed another part that was leaking and again emailed me a detailed overview of what and why. We decided to fix that part as well. When I went to pick it up the following day, I was so glad this hail mary plan worked out. Rafi greeted me and showed me the actual parts that they replaced, including identifying the specific areas that broke. Really interesting to see. My wife had a small issue with her Mini Cooper headlight and, when she was dropping me off, someone from the Mini team quickly fixed it for her 'on the house'. Also reassuring to see the techs specialize in specific brands (Mercedes, Mini, BMW, Audi, VW...and I'm guessing more). I brought two boxes of donuts to thank them for saving me and, when I went to put them on the desk for the team to enjoy, I saw multiple other customers had already brought thank you snacks, including home baked cookies. That's always a great sign of good, honest work. Did a 600 mile road trip the weekend after and everything is working great. Communication: A+ Detailed Orientation: A+ Speed: A+ While I live 25 min away, I will definitely be heading back for any future needs. Rafi: I'm guessing you read these - thanks again!
